July western tour dates are being confirmed left and right, and cool local people and bands are helping fill the bills. However, we still need bands in Milwaukee to join us at Frank’s Power Plant on July 30th, and we still need a show in Omaha for July 22nd.

Last night, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York hosted the 2013 Met Gala. This year’s theme was “Punk: From Chaos To Couture.” For many celebrities, this was the first time they had used the word “punk” in a sentence that wasn’t “Have my assistant get me Daft Punk tickets.” It was also an excuse for them to spend $10,000 to spike their hair up and play punk dress up for a night. When interviewed, they all sounded like total shitheads talking out of their asses. Here’s what some of them had to say in these actual quotes from the red carpet…

The planning for our July Midwest/Mountain tour is coming along swimmingly. Already have shows fully confirmed in Chicago, Rock Island, IL, Cedar Falls, IA, and Minneapolis, and the rest are in the works. We’re only having trouble finding a hookup in Milwaukee! Who knows cool bands or promoters there? Would rather go the band route than through a venue initially.

New OV jam utilizes my newest pedal, of course. It’s there, I gotta step on it!! Song might be ready for our May 1st show.
Our first show of 2013 is this Saturday! It’s BAMfest, (Bloomington Area Music fest), taking place at 5 venues around town. We’re playing at The Back Door (near the Atlas) with Carpenter & Clerk, Cresent Ullmer and Halfway Krooks. We go on at 9:20, so we’ll be done in time for you to go see the cover bands at Rock n Roll Prom! Come on out! It’s been too long!
